We believe fashion should protect the planet, not pollute it.

We’re a small, purpose driven brand, and every decision comes back to one question: is this the right thing to do for the ocean and the planet we’re fighting to protect? Here’s how we put that into practice, and where we’re still working on it.

No overproduction.

Every item is printed on demand. Your order is only made once you place it, then shipped directly from our print partner. That means no piles of unsold stock and far less waste. It takes a little longer to reach you, and we think that’s a trade worth making.

Lower impact printing.

Most of our designs are printed with water based inks that are OEKO-TEX certified, so they’ve been tested for harmful substances.

Embroidery.

Our embroidered pieces are stitched with OEKO-TEX certified threads.

Better materials, where we can.

Our organic tees and bucket hat are made from GOTS certified organic cotton. Some of our other pieces, like our hoodies and heavyweight tees, are made from regular cotton or cotton blends, because that’s what gives them the weight and warmth we want. Where we can choose organic or recycled, we do, and we’ll keep updating this page as our range changes.

Packaging.

Apparel shipped from our print partner’s own facilities comes in packaging made from at least 70% recycled plastic, and they’re working towards fully recycled packaging everywhere.

Giving back.

We donate to the Australian Marine Conservation Society every month, and every order adds an extra $1 on top.

We’re not perfect. But we’re committed.

We’re one person running a brand built on doing the right thing. We don’t get everything right every time, but we’re always looking for ways to do better for the ocean, for the planet and for the community we’re building together.
